Body and Massage Oil · Evening Ritual

Stillness Body Oil

Sesame Oil · West Indian Sandalwood · Lavender · Cedarwood · Cinnamon

There is a moment in the evening when the day finally lets go. When the shoulders drop, breathing deepens, thoughts slow down. Stillness is made for this moment. A body oil that warms — in scent, in texture, in the gesture of application. An invitation to return. To oneself.

Scent Profile

Warm. Woody. Deep.

Stillness begins with the warm, slightly balsamic tone of West Indian Sandalwood — soft, calm, immediately familiar. Lavender brings clarity and lightness. Beneath it lies the wood of cedarwood, which gives the scent depth and longevity. A hint of cinnamon provides warmth — not sharp, but like a hand on the shoulder.

Application

Two ways. One ritual.

Stillness can be used in two ways — as a body oil after showering or as a massage oil for a targeted self-massage. Both applications fit into the evening, both take no more than five minutes.

  1. 01 As a body oil: After showering, gently pat the skin dry — leaving it slightly damp. Put a few drops of Stillness into the palms of your hands, warm briefly and apply upwards from the legs. Allow to absorb.
  2. 02 As a massage oil: Take a little more oil in your palms and gently work it in. Shoulders, neck, arms, soles of feet. No technique necessary — slow, conscious movements are enough.
  3. 03 Hold the moment: Consciously inhale the scent. Stillness is not just a skincare step — it's a signal to the body that the day is ending.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. The oil contains cinnamon leaf oil — patch test on the forearm recommended for sensitive skin.

The idea behind it

Self-care is not a routine. It's a choice.

Stillness was developed for all those moments when you allow yourself a moment. Not as a reward. Not as an exception. But as a practice. Take the oil in your hands. Notice the scent. Place your hands on your skin. That's enough.

Ingredients

What's in it. And why.

Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil
Ayurvedic Base Oil · Warm · Nourishing
Sesame Oil

The classic base oil of Ayurveda — warm in texture, deeply nourishing in care. Sesame oil moisturizes the skin and is the ideal carrier oil for a self-massage: not too light, not too heavy. It contains natural vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids, which leave the skin feeling nourished overnight.

* Herbal care oil. Health-related claims refer to topical application as a skincare oil. No medicinal effects are claimed.

Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil
Caribbean · West Indies · Balsamic
West Indian Sandalwood

West Indian Sandalwood has a soft, balsamic woody scent that immediately envelops. It is less sharp than classic sandalwood, less tart than cedarwood. In Stillness, West Indian Sandalwood gives the scent its warm, calm character — the first thing you notice, and what lingers.

* Herbal essential oil. The described use is based on the composition of the fragrance. No medicinal effects are claimed.

Lavandula Hybrida Grosso Herb Oil
Lavandin · Herbal · Clear
Lavender

Lavandin Grosso is a lavender variety with a more robust, slightly camphoraceous profile than fine lavender — fresher, less sweet, with more depth. In Stillness, it brings clarity to the warm fragrance character and ensures that the oil does not feel too heavy.

* Herbal essential oil. Contains Linalool, Linalyl acetate. The described use is based on the composition of the fragrance. No medicinal effects are claimed.

Cedrus deodara Wood Oil
Himalaya · Woody · Base Note
Cedarwood

Cedarwood oil from the Himalayas — dry, woody, slightly smoky. It gives Stillness its base note: the scent that lingers longest on the skin and adds depth and tranquility to the overall character. Cedarwood has been part of Ayurvedic and Indian fragrance traditions for millennia.

* Herbal essential oil. The described use is based on the composition of the fragrance. No medicinal effects are claimed.

Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Leaf Oil
Sri Lanka · Cinnamon Leaf · Spicy · Warm
Cinnamon Leaf Oil

Cinnamon leaf oil — not cinnamon bark oil — is significantly milder on the skin and has a spicier, less sweet character than what is known from cinnamon sticks. In Stillness, it is the warming surprise: subtle, yet noticeable. It contains eugenol, which is declared as an allergen.

* Herbal essential oil. Contains Eugenol. For sensitive skin, a patch test on the forearm is recommended. No medicinal effects are claimed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know

When is the best time to apply Stillness?

In the evening — after showering or as a standalone self-massage. Stillness is intentionally designed for the transition into the evening. It works just as well immediately after sports as before going to bed.

How does Stillness differ from Morning Light?

Morning Light is fresh and invigorating — an oil for starting the day. Stillness is warm and enveloping — an oil for concluding it. Both are body oils, but with opposing moods. Together, they form a complete daily ritual.

Is Stillness suitable for sensitive skin?

The oil contains cinnamon leaf oil, which contains eugenol — a declarable allergen that can react with very sensitive skin. Patch test on the forearm recommended before first use. The sesame oil as a base is well tolerated by most skin types.

Can I use Stillness as a massage oil?

Yes — the sesame oil as a base makes Stillness ideal for massage applications. It glides well on the skin but still absorbs completely, leaving no greasy residue.

Does Stillness complement Nidra Deep Sleep Oil?

Yes — both products share the sesame oil base and are designed for evening use. Stillness for the body, Nidra for the soles of the feet, temples, and neck. Together, they form a complete evening ritual.
