Tulā teapot with tea strainer asmi ayurveda

Tulā teapot with 3 teas

Discover our Tulā teapot, handmade in Modena.

Tulā means balance in Sanskrit.

The Tulā teapot embodies a balance between the round body and the strict geometric shape of the handle. The rough white surface is complemented by the warm walnut wood of the handle and lid. The material of the teapot is Gres porcelain, available in northern Italy, which is particularly popular for its durability and high quality.

Each piece is handcrafted by Italian master artisans to ensure that your unique teapot will last a long time.

The teapot holds approximately 1.7 liters of tea. The integrated stainless steel tea strainer is very convenient to prepare a good cup of our organic teas. Fill the strainer with a teaspoon of the loose leaves and pour boiling water over it. Remove the strainer after a few minutes, close the lid and enjoy your warm cup of tea.

With every teapot we add our tea gift set worth 50€ for free.

The production of the Tulā teapot

Our material is Gres porcelain, which has a much better quality compared to ceramic in terms of resistance, durability, cleaning.

Everything starts with the mold, a chalk mold that we make for each piece.

Once we have this mold, we make a second "in negative": it is a rectangular mold with a hole inside that has the shape of the item. Then we pour liquid ceramic into it. When it dries in 2-3 days, we open this mold and the piece is ready, but very fragile.

All the finishing, holes, corrections are done by hand during this step. We have to be very careful because the piece is fragile. Then we have the first firing in a "muffle" kiln.
Then we glaze the product and finally we have the second firing at high temperature (1,250°) in the same kiln.

The teapot is fully vitrified, resistant and cleanable and will accompany you for decades.

We recommend using no more than 3-4 drops of the oils per night. That is less than 1 ml. So the 30 ml bottle would be enough for at least 30 nights.
