At the centre of our philosophy is the 5,000-year-old Indian healing art of Ayurveda. It is based on the five elements of nature and the three doshas that are individual to each person. We work exclusively with renowned Ayurveda experts to transfer the holistic teachings to our products.

Ayurvedic teachings strive for the balance of your natural body energies. If this is achieved, your physical and mental well-being will also increase. The basis for this is a mindful approach to yourself, your fellow human beings and nature. Balance and connection play a central role in this.

Those who live Ayurvedically usually act more socially, sustainably and consciously. The fact that you feel healthier, more relaxed and energetic is a positive side effect that connects body and mind more with each other again.

In addition to a conscious approach to ourselves, a conscious approach to resources is also important to us. That is why we are convinced that our actions are holistic, fair and climate-positive. Resource-saving production is particularly important to us. That is why our packaging materials do not have to travel long distances to reach us:

• Our tea tins are manufactured in Landshut (Bavaria) at Klann Packaging ;
• the stone paper labels are printed at Mail-Druck in our neighbouring town of Bünde (NRW);
• our shipping boxes made of recycled paper come from Ostrołęka (Poland)
• and the compostable potato starch mailing bags come from Middlesex (England).

We have carefully selected our European partners, much like our hand-picked tea. We share the same values and have built reliable partnerships. Through this collaboration, we can ensure a transparent supply chain with less CO2 emissions.

But we don't just want to compensate the CO2 emissions, we also support the construction of a biogas plant in India. It enables the local people to cook without firewood and deliberately aims to end the deforestation of the surrounding forests.

This is important to us, because the resulting better air thus contributes to a healthier lifestyle. The bio-fertilizer, which is additionally produced in the biogas plant, increases the harvest yields of the families.

In this way, we protect the environment and at the same time sustainably improve the quality of life. A win-win situation for all, which corresponds exactly to the values of asmi.

We are all part of a community. We are aware of this and we want to live it. That's why inclusion is a natural part of our corporate DNA.

We have consciously decided to work together with Wertkreis gGmbH - an integrative workshop in Gütersloh - and to bottle our teas there.

The team there consists of 2,500 people with and without disabilities. Their motto "Diversity is our strength!" also reflects our values and we are proud and happy to have gained a cooperation partner. We are looking forward to a long-term cooperation.
