The Nidra Ritual
In Ayurveda, the night doesn't begin in bed, but with an intention. Nidra Deep Sleep Oil is applied as an Abhyanga self-massage — 20 to 30 minutes before bedtime.
- 01 Place a few drops in your palms and gently warm the oil between your hands. Consciously perceive the natural scent of jatamansi and night jasmine.
- 02 Massage into the soles of your feet, temples, forehead, and jawline for 3–5 minutes. These areas correspond to classical Marma points in Ayurvedic tradition.
- 03 Allow the oil to absorb, close your eyes, and consciously inhale the natural scent of the Himalayan herbs. The night begins.
For external use only.
Developed with Ayurvedic Expertise
Dr. Sreekrishnan
Second-generation Ayurvedic physician from India. Nidra Deep Sleep Oil was developed in collaboration with Dr. Sreekrishnan according to the principles of classical Abhyanga self-massage — a practice described in the Ashtanga Hridayam as part of the evening daily routine.
Three ingredients. Nothing more.
The classic carrier oil of Ayurveda, here from organic farming. Sesame oil nourishes the skin, deeply delivers other ingredients, and leaves the skin feeling cared for overnight. It contains natural vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids that support the skin barrier.
* Organic sesame oil nourishes and protects the skin. Health-related claims according to EU law refer to topical application as a skincare oil. From organic cultivation.
Jatamansi — also called Spikenard — is one of the oldest plants in Ayurveda and is described in the Charaka Samhita as Medhya Rasayana: a remedy that nourishes the mind and, according to Ayurvedic tradition, strengthens the nervous system. The root oil from the Himalayas has a deep, earthy scent and is the heart of Nidra Deep Sleep Oil.
* Jatamansi Root Oil is a herbal cosmetic oil. No medical effects are claimed. The described use is based on Ayurvedic tradition.
Night Jasmine blooms exclusively after dark and sheds its blossoms at dawn. In Ayurveda, it is considered one of the few plants that make the transition between day and night tangible. Its floral oil has a delicate, sweet scent and, according to Ayurvedic tradition, has a Pitta-cooling effect.
* Night Jasmine flower oil is a botanical fragrance and care oil. The described use is based on Ayurvedic tradition. No medical effects are claimed.

Why Sleep is Sacred in Ayurveda
Nidra — sleep — is one of the three pillars of health in Ayurveda, equal in importance to nutrition and the conscious management of vital energy. According to Ayurvedic understanding, the evening holds an invitation: to let go of the day before the night begins. Nidra Deep Sleep Oil follows this tradition in its simplest form — four ingredients, a ritual, an intention.
Handcrafted. Regional. Socially Inclusive.
Every bottle of Nidra Deep Sleep Oil is hand-filled, labeled, and packaged — in a workshop in the region that employs people with and without disabilities. No machines, no anonymity. Every bottle bears a human touch.
We call this our "Wertkreis" (value circle): from plant to workshop to hand to skin. Short distances. True responsibility — not as a promise, but as practice.
- Hand-filling and packaging in a socially inclusive workshop
- Production in Germany — short transport routes, regional value creation
- Small batches — quality control by hand, not by machines
Everything you want to know
Daily, in the evening — 20 to 30 minutes before bedtime. A few drops are enough for the soles of your feet, temples, forehead, and jawline. Regularity makes all the difference: the ritual itself provides a conscious conclusion to the day.
When sparingly applied to the temples and forehead, usually not. For those who include the soles of their feet, wearing short cotton socks is recommended — a classic Ayurvedic tip that helps the oil absorb.
With daily use, 30 ml lasts about two to three months. The oil is concentrated — less is truly more here.
Yes. Nidra Deep Sleep Oil contains exclusively three plant-based ingredients without perfume, preservatives, or silicones. Please refrain from use if you have a known sesame allergy. For very sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test on the forearm before first use.
Nidra Deep Sleep Oil is hand-filled and packaged in Germany — in a socially inclusive workshop that employs people with and without disabilities. Every bottle is part of a conscious "Wertkreis" (value circle): regionally produced, with short supply chains. All ingredients are vegan.
